Beyond Jupiter: The Cosmic Bullet That Ended the Dinosaurs

The cataclysmic event that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago has long been a subject of scientific fascination.

 While it’s been established that a massive asteroid impact in what is now Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula was the culprit, the asteroid’s origin has remained shrouded in mystery until recently.
